This is the black stallion’s band of wild horses running across a high mesa meadow on the 4th of July. The black stallion is leading out the band just in front of the gray mare. This gray mare was pregnant at the time and later gave birth to a black colt with a white diamond on his forehead, Horse Mesa, Northern New Mexico, USA.
